After the announcement at the end of March, Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow finally got a new teaser trailer at Anime Expo 2024. However, no release window for the upcoming season was announced. But the creators mentioned the anime will be coming to Crunchyroll soon.
Given the timeframe of the announcement, Solo Leveling Season 2 may drop at some point in 2025. The new trailer shows Sung Jinwoo battling some villains in a snowy landscape. It also gives us a glimpse at the protagonist’s new Shadow Monarch powers as we see his shadow army ready to fight.
Blue Lock Season 2 receives first trailer
2024 has been a good year for sports anime. After the massive success of Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle, Blue Lock Season 2 is coming this fall. The highly anticipated upcoming anime got its first trailer at the expo.

Japanese fans are getting My Hero Academia: You’re Next on August 2, and American viewers will get a chance to see the film starting October 11. That might seem like a big gap, but it’s about normal for a rollout like this.
In fact, two months is short for a release of this scale. The fourth movie in the franchise will feature Deku tackling an evil All Might. Oh dear!
More Haikyuu!! is on the way
It’s been confirmed that Haikyuu!!’s timeskip will be animated. During a panel featuring Production IG and Wit Studio, a question was asked about the remainder of the manga after the upcoming second movie.
A panelist confirmed that “everything will be animated”, but wouldn’t elaborate further. Does this sugges Haikyuu!! Season 5? We wouldn’t go that far, but it’s definitely intriguing.
