Sasuke is one of the most significant characters of the series and that’s why when the initial chapters of timeskip didn’t bring him into the picture, fans started worrying about his whereabouts.

Boruto Part 2 Chapter 6 spoilers
The chapter opens up with the Elders who want to eliminate Boruto, as they believe he planned to kill Kawaki. Even though Shikamaru tries to convince them, they don’t budge from their words. The Elders want to see Shikamaru take the responsibilities of the 8th Hokage permanently. When Shikamaru realizes them his plan couldn’t make the Elders change their decision, he goes to meet Ino.
Shikamaru asks Ino to bring some documents to him but the latter already knows that he plans to bring something with the help of telepathy. Shikamaru says that he wants to talk to Ino but no one should be able to hear the conversation between them. Ino tells him that she cannot violate the rules by fulfilling his demands. However, Shikamaru says that if Ino will not do what he says, he will never talk to her.
On the other side, Eida informed Kawaki that Shinju planned to kill Naruto. Before she can tell him that they are also targeting her, Eida realizes that Kawaki doesn’t care about her as he is only concerned for the 7th Hokage’s well-being.
