At the end of 2023, Crunchyroll posted a poll asking anime fans about their anime crush of 2023. They shared the poll across multiple regions and received thousands of votes all over the globe. The beauty of anime isn’t limited to its beautiful scenery, but characters too.
Several characters were pitted against one another in the poll, each receiving hundreds of votes. This includes male and female characters from all kinds of anime, not just the ones that aired in 2023.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Satoru Gojo won the Crunchyroll anime crush poll with 1075 votes.
Considering that Yor Forger, the second place holder, received 609 votes, Gojo’s victory is overwhelming. Jujutsu Kaisen aired its second season in 2023, which is one of the most popular anime of the year.

The season begins with Gojo’s Past arc, featuring the story from 12 years before the main timeline. It follows Gojo’s high school days, and then the story moves to the current timeline during the Shibuya Incident. In both arcs, fans see different versions of Gojo and can’t help but gush over him.
One particular scene that took Twitter by storm is from the Shibuya Incident which was also added in the Shibuya trailer. The scene had fans swooning over the beloved Sensei, who had removed his blindfold, had blood all over his face, and was breathing heavily.
And now, it’s official that Gojo is the heartthrob of several anime fans worldwide. Jujutsu Kaisen is popular for its beautiful characters, so it has dominated the poll with several rank holders and honorable mentions. Kento Nanami takes third place with 582 votes, while Suguru Geto is seventh with 187 votes. Toji Fushiguro takes eighth place after tying with Frieren with 136 votes each.
Nobara Kugisaki received an honorable mention with 54 votes. It’s also worth mentioning that JJK is the only series with more than two characters being rank holders in the poll. And of course, the most popular character of the series hails as the winner.
