Kagurabachi began its serialization in September 2023, but it was already hyped up by the fandom before the first chapter’s arrival on the manga reading platforms. Surprisingly, the action-packed series lived up to the hype and became a sensation overnight. Enthusiasts also started comparing it with the most popular titles like Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and more.
The story of Kagurabachi revolves around Chihiro, who swears to avenge his father’s death after he was slaughtered by a group of sorcerers. Adding to that, Manga Plus also saw it surpassing the most-read titles on the platform, including Boruto, Dragon Ball, and Spy X Family.
Looking at the success rate, it isn’t shocking to see its editor talking about their plans for the series in the coming time.
