Jujutsu Kaisen manga has finally reached the end of its incredible journey – so here’s a list of eight incredible manga you can read next.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular battle shonen manga by Gege Akutami. The story is set in a world where negative emotions pile up and give birth to cursed spirits threatening people’s safety.
Jujutsu sorcerers risk their lives to deal with those curses and also guide young students to do the same. However, the battle against curses is never-ending; they will continue to exist as long as humans do.
The Shinjuku Showdown Arc is the final arc of the series, which follows the battle against the King of Curses. Shonen Jump confirmed the manga will be ending on September 29, 2024. But fret not, we’ve got you covered with these eight mangas you can read as you bid farewell to Jujutsu Kaisen.
1. Kagurabachi
Kagurabachi is a battle shonen manga just like Jujutsu Kaisen. It follows Chihiro Rokuhira who aspires to become a famous swordsmith like his father. However, his peaceful days with his goofy father don’t last long when tragedy strokes.
After witnessing his father’s murder, Chihiro takes up a sword and swears to avenge him. And thus, begins an epic story of revenge. The manga currently has 50 chapters, wrapping up its second arc in Chapter 44.
2. Sakamoto Days
Sakamoto Days follows Taro Sakamoto, who was considered the greatest hitman of all time. However, he falls in love with a woman and abandons his dangerous line of work. Five years later, Taro is used to living a normal life with his wife and daughter.
However, his past comes back to haunt him, which forces Taro to fight again for the sake of his loved ones. Sakamoto Days currently has 183 chapters and is focusing on its ninth story arc.
3. Dandadan
Dandadan follows Momo Ayase and her classmate Okarun. While Momo believes in ghosts, Okarun thinks aliens are real, so they begin arguing over which is real. To prove themselves right, they make a bet, which soon creates a series of hilarious events.
This story of young love centers around those chaotic events, as they find ghosts, monsters, and aliens are real. Dandadan is currently in its ninth arc with 167 chapters.
4. Centuria
Set in a gruesome world, Centuria is a dark fantasy manga following Julian, a stowaway on a slave ship. Sold by his mother, he never experienced kindness from anyone, but his life is about to change.
After a tragic incident on the ship, he embarks on a groundbreaking journey to find peace and freedom. Centuria is a fairly new manga so it has just 24 chapters currently.

5. Gokurakugai
Gokurakugai is a district with dark secrets hidden under the glimmering surface where there’s no order. Tao and Alma are two troubleshooters for hire who make a living by doing odd jobs such as finding missing people or dealing with disfigured animal corpses.
However, things get serious when these troubleshooters target the evil monsters known as Maga, lurking in the shadows. Gokurakugai is the only monthly manga on the list, with 20 chapters currently.
6. Wild Strawberry
Wild Strawberry is an action fantasy story set in an alternate Tokyo where plants have evolved rather unnaturally. They can now become horrifying monsters known as Jinka and feed on humans. Kingo and Kayano are two siblings who barely make ends meet in a city overrun by these killer plants.
But, the siblings have been hiding a dark secret: Kayano is actually a host for a parasitic plant. When the Flower Funeral Force learns the truth, things take a turn for the worse. Wild Strawberry is a biweekly manga with 31 chapters.
7. Empyreal Cabinet
The story centers around the political power struggles between Spellcasters in the Tatsushimo-Marebito Special Administrative District, also known as the “Eastern Enchantment.” Both Empyreal Cabinet and Jujutsu Kaisen feature characters who exorcise monsters and deal with political matters in the magic world.
Therefore, this new manga may easily be a replacement for Jujutsu Kaisen. The manga debuted in August 2024 and released three chapters weekly before opting for a monthly release schedule.
8. Shinobi Undercover
Shinobi Undercover is a ninja-themed manga with a modern twist by Ippon Takegushi (story) and Santa Mitarashi (art), the same duo behind Candy Flurry. Set in modern-era Japan, the story follows ninjas who still hide in the shadows.
Centering around a young ninja named Yodaka, the manga begins with his mission to protect high school student Aoi at all costs. However, the mission proved to be more challenging than Yodaka initially thought. He is used to surviving in the wild world so will he be able to get through high school like an ordinary student? The manga debuted in September 2024 and currently has two chapters.
