My Hero Academia Chapter 430 spoilers
Chapter 430, titled ‘My Hero Academia’, picks up 8 years after the events of Chapter 429. The chapter begins with the same line the series started with: “People are not born equal…”
Deku, now an adult, is at work, ruminating about what he learned when he was 17. We learn he’s become a teacher at U.A., and it’s eventually revealed he no longer has One For All, the embers having faded long ago.

My Hero Academia Chapter 430 then shows the rest of Class 1-A students, most of who have become Pro Heroes. Bakugo and Shoto are among the top heroes, though the former is losing his popularity due to his explosive personality. Shoto, on the other hand, is thriving.
It’s implied that Mirio is currently the No. 1 Pro Hero, though we don’t get any confirmation and he doesn’t appear in the chapter. Ochako, Iida, Tsuyu, and Momo have made a group as Pro Heroes, while Shoji is being recognized for his effort for the equality of heteromorphs. Deku is the only one from the class who isn’t a Pro Hero.
My Hero Academia Chapter 430 also focuses on a teenager, Dai, who wants to become a hero despite having a non-offensive Quirk. When his classmates mock his dream, he goes to All Might’s statue where both he and Deku jump at the same time to save a kid.
Dai tells Deku how he wants to become a hero like him but can’t, due to his Quirk. Deku finds his purpose: though he can’t be a hero himself, he can inspire others, like All Might did to him. “You can become a hero,” says Deku, echoing his idol’s words.
The scene then changes to Deku meeting All Might. The old man has brought a lot of expensive support gear, made by his American friend and Mei Hatsume. He reveals all the Class 1-A students funded this, especially Bakugo. The Explosion user then extends his hand to Deku, urging him to come with them.
In the last panel, we see Deku becoming a Pro Hero with the support gear, and is finally together with his friends. My Hero Academia Chapter 430 sees the end of the series.
