Apex Legends console players may soon have a fix for their annoying cursor bug that forces them to waste them when trying to manage their loot.
However, that hasn’t stopped the developers from addressing issues and trying to keep the game as strong as possible with regular updates to problems – be it big or small.
In a post to the Apex Legends subreddit, Avi304, noted that the cursor for managing inventory on console is currently snapping to the side instead of to the middle. This means that players have to take a few extra moments, which could be the difference between being eliminated and surviving, to get the cursor where it needs to be.
Nevertheless, the error was quickly picked up on by JayFresh – a part of the Respawn team – who explained that they would be looking into what was causing the error. “Noted! We’re looking into this, the cursor snapping to center is the intended state,” they replied.

Redditors address other problems
Nevertheless, other members of the subreddit chimed in with potential improvements of their own for the in-game cursor. One, YouLeftTheStoveOn, requested an option to increase the in-menu cursor speed instead of it being reliant on a players sensitivity.
However, the dev didn’t pick up on the response, but that’s not to say that it couldn’t be something that comes to the game in future – especially if enough players have the same idea.
With the start of Apex Legends Season 2 for the game slated for July 2, it remains to be seen just what bug fixes that Respawn address in their next massive update.
