Apex Legends players have come across another annoying error following the ongoing and still unfixed ‘code:leaf’ drama.
While no multiplayer game is without its glitches and errors, Apex Legends has recently seen a string of issues that has left players frustrated.
Due to the complexity of these kind of games, developers often use special code names for each error, so that they are easier to suss out what’s specifically caused it. But these names often leave players wondering what the error actually is.
‘Wheel’ the constant error codes ever be fixed?
After being kicked to the menu with a server time out, players are being fronted with a new error called “code:wheel”, fresh off the frustration of the infamous ‘code:leaf’ fiasco.
Players began reporting the error on Reddit recently, as they frustratingly tried to figure out what’s causing it. “Conspiracy theory: they simply changed the word leaf to wheel while they’re still coming up for a fix for it.” user ‘Rumtumjack’ theorized one one of the many posts about the issue.

Not all players are letting their frustrations get to them and have instead decided to have fun with it instead. A Reddit user by the name of ‘Unclaimed_income‘ made a post mocking the error code. “Should I spin my Ps4 until it works again?” the caption reads.
In their post, they also added a spinning wheel gif to the Error screen, as wheels have often been used for loading or errors in software, such as Apple’s infamous pinwheel of death on its products.
Why is Apex Legends so buggy lately?
The new error code comes fresh off the ‘healing cancel bug’, as well as Mastiff not counting towards challenges. Players are also frustrated with the ongoing muzzle flash issue.
The problem with the flash is that people are unable to see their enemy, as its effects are so large that it blinds players when in battle.
Hopefully these ongoing bugs and errors get resolved soon, as Respawn seem to be actively trying to address them as quickly as it can.
