An Apex Legends season five teaser has seemingly revealed the huge size of a new location coming to Kings Canyon – and it’s safe to say the map is in for a pretty major makeover.
Back on April 10, the apparent first teaser for Apex Legends season five was uncovered when fans of the battle royale noticed a strange door at Hydro Dam in Kings Canyon. Since then, there has been a handful of other teasers – each pointing at changes to the original Apex map once season five drops.
As the days have gone on, leakers have uncovered the dates for the future teasers, but others have been focused on what is already out there, and one clever player seems to have pinned down the huge size of the new location.
Reddit user OrcusDei noted that the first of these teasers asked “How big is this?” with the image of the supposed new location being attached so that had to try and figure out the answer.
The Dome-like shape and accompanying tunnels have appeared in the teasers appear to be taking the place of Wetlands – replacing at least ten buildings and even helping tear down part of the landscape.

That would undoubtedly be a huge change to the current layout of Kings Canyon, even though Wetlands isn’t exactly a major hot drop. Though, OrcusDei pointed out that the image they’d mocked up could be different from what Respawn have up their sleeve.
The tunnels for the new location have been teased as far back as season two, when players could hear banging underneath Wetlands.
However, what Respawn has up their sleeve for changes will only be confirmed once season five goes live. That had been expected to happen on May 7, but it has since been pushed back to May 12.
