Dr Disrespect’s time streaming Apex Legends on Twitch appears to be coming to an end, after the two-time revealed he no longer has any interest in the battle royale during a recent broadcast.
The popular variety streamer is no stranger to first-person shooter games and certainly not battle royales, as he was one of the biggest personalities to promote Apex when it first came out in February 2019.
Anybody who watches the Two-Time back-to-back Blockbuster video game champion knows to expect the usual speed, violence and momentum every time he goes live on his channel, but on March 9 thing were a little different.
While the streamer’s voice was breaking all over the place and many players expected it to be nothing more than just a common flu, he revealed at one point that it was actually the much talked about coronavirus – which he claims to have “crushed” over the weekend.
Putting that to one side, he might well be going on the hunt for a new game to play in the near future, after coming to the conclusion that Apex Legends is no longer meeting his expectations.
“I might not ever play this game again,” he said. “I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen, I have absolutely f**king zero interest in this game – none, never have. A little bit early on, but that was fun, I was learning, it was fresh.

“Now that I know what every single fight is like and you can’t hit a big shot, the one shot, I just never f**king gravitated towards this game,” he added, before his voice completely crocked up. “I never have. I’m not gonna sit here and complain to you guys about it.”
In the past, as regular viewers will know, the Doc has gone as far as uninstalling games like Fortnite, PUBG, and even Apex Legends, only to play them again next time he goes live.
This time, though, there seems to be a difference as he “guaranteed” he wouldn’t be diving into the Apex Games, despite continuing to play it for the rest of his four-hour stream. He did add a “probably” to the promise too, so let’s see how this one plays out.
What game could Dr Disrespect play next?
Dr Disrespect has made a name for himself in first-person shooters and there’s no bigger talking point in the FPS market right now than Valorant.
Riot Games have released a lot of details on their next major project so far, confirming it will be released in “Summer 2020,” and Doc even had shroud on his channel later on to talk a little bit about the game. There’s a good chance that he will give it a go when it officially launches, but until then, fans should expect to see him switch around several titles.
