Twitch streamer Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment after a run-in with the game’s Triple Take sniper rifle.
The Doc has been grinding Apex Legends consistently since the release of the popular battle royale title’s third season, and even though he admits he is addicted to the game, that hasn’t stopped him from fuming about the state of it when he feels he’s hard done by.
On October 7, Dr Disrespect got taken down by an opponent wielding the Triple Take sniper rifle, which is one of the easier guns in its class to use, prompting another classic rage from The Doc, who thinks Respawn are catering too heavily to unskilled players.
Eliminated from the game, Dr Disrespect took aim at the weapon, labeling it as “training wheels for sniping,” as he raged about the current state of the game.
“The Triple Take is a couple wheels on the side, playing baby music through a walkie-talkie,” The Doc told his audience. “It’s pathetic! All these games are just anything to let the little deer feed as well, right? There are sheep, and then there are wolves — and somehow, someway, development in these games just love to cater to these little sheep!”
“These poor little sheep trapped in a prairie on a farm, they’re kind of hungry too! ‘Maybe we should feed them as well, just throw them something in there, he’s so cute!’ Makes me sick!”

The Doc was so enraged, that he decided not to play another second of the game for the remainder of the stream, reading donations and interacting with fans before ending his broadcast.
Dr Disrespect is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, boasting almost four million followers, and has made a name for himself by dominating opponents in battle royale titles, while trash talking them in a style which only he can pull off.
While he may be frustrated with Respawn Entertainment and Apex Legends right now, don’t expect to see him shelve the game for good, as it’s likely he’ll return to the arena for some more action on World’s End on October 8.
