DSG has signed iiTzTimmy’s Apex Legends team, The Dogo, as Disguised prepares for ALGS Year 4 after being introduced as a partner team.
In December 2023, it was announced that Disguised, the esports org founded by streaming giant Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, was part of the 12-team Apex Legends partnership program in Year 4, joining the likes of Fnatic, TSM, and FURIA.
And as the first ALGS North American Split approaches, Disguised announced the signing of iiTzTimmy’s The Dojo for the 2024 season.
Revealed with a sketch video, The Dojo, comprises streaming megastar Timothy “iiTzTimmy” An, Tyler “Dezignful” Gardner, Alexander “Enemy” Rodriguez, and Deston “Bronzey” Nguyen as their coach. Together they will be playing under the DSG banner moving forward.
At the tail-end of ALGS 2023, The Dojo made a surprise qualification for the World Championship through the NA LCQ, and subsequently finished fourth at the Championship.
According to Disguised Toast, when DSG entered Apex in 2023, he had already thought about approaching iiTzTimmy and The Dojo, however, didn’t initially go through with it due to the complications with his contract with 100 Thieves at the time.
“I actually avoided approaching Timmy last year,” he said, “because people were saying ‘oh you should pick up Timmy, he’s in the World finals, and you guys are friends, so it would make sense,’” Toast explained in the reveal video.

“But I just didn’t do it because, I was like, ‘he’s part of 100 Thieves, it’s probably gonna cost me like $10 million to get him to sign with DSG.”

However, 100 Thieves has allowed iiTzTimmy to compete in Apex under DSG while still being signed on to 100 Thieves as a content creator.
“So Timmy is this weird unique unicorn in this ecosystem where he’s part of two esports orgs and I think that’s super cool,” Toast said of the signing.
Disguised is slated to compete in the ALGS North America Split 1 on 21 January.
