Apex Legends Season 2.
The highly-anticipated second round of seasonal content for the popular battle royale was released on July 2, with Respawn already hard at work with fixes and tweaks.
The developers have already dropped a quick patch that addresses broken challenges and exit penalties, but they aren’t the only things that they are looking to rectify – as they’ve released a full breakdown of their upcoming work.
According to their newly set-up Trello Board, Respawn is currently investigating 11 different big bugs and errors that have been reported via the game’s subreddit, Twitter, and Twitch streams. These range from stats not tracking to being able to start a game due to ‘party not ready’.
Players have also reported additional errors like their UI disappearing, being given non-optimal data centers – which can cause unnecessary lag – as well as having the game crash when using a specific loading screen.
Of course, with an additional level of transparency, players can follow the progress of these fixes and be aware of just how they’ll be available in-game – be it a full client update or a server patch.

Respawn also state, in their board FAQs, that the list will be updated on a weekly basis – usually on a Monday afternoon – so if you report something game-breaking, don’t worry if you don’t see it being investigated immediately.
However, not every error will be given a spot on the board. The developers state that the ‘bigger issues’ that are affecting players and bugs that they can share progress on will be listed.
A major error, like the knock-down bug that has plagued the game for quite some time, will be given a focus point on the list – just so players know it is being altered.
While you will be able to follow the progress of a specific fix, there isn’t going to be a countdown to when a patch is released so you’ll just have to keep your eye on the game itself or follow the developer check-in posts from the subreddit.
Until then, it’s probably best to keep dropping into Kings Canyon and reporting anything that is out of place.
