As one of the most popular channels on the livestreaming platform, viewers flock to shroud’s stream as he showcases his incredible gaming skills on a daily basis.
However, despite his usually cool, calm, and collected attitude, even he isn’t immune from running into in-game situations that cause frustrations and a not-safe-for-work outburst.
During his June 22 stream, the former CS:GO pro was doing what he does best – winning games of Apex Legends. However, as he was on the path to another win, he tried to earn his free shield boost by using Octane’s finisher while using a gold (level 4) shield.
“What?” exclaimed shroud, disappointed that after finishing the move, his gold shield hadn’t in fact refilled at all. “Oh, he left the game. That’s horseshit.”
I didn’t get my boy, my boy – are you fucking me?” he added, upon realizing he’d have to recharge his shield another way, “that’s so lame.”

Shroud didn’t even leave his annoyance with the situation there, however, as he explained what had just happened to teammate Tyler ‘Skadoodle’ Latham. The streamer continued on: “Dude, that’s such bullshit,” before turning his attention to another group of players and bagging a few more kills.
The frustration didn’t affect the outcome of shroud’s game in any way as he and his partners powered their way to yet another victory.
However, with Apex Legends Season 2 just around the corner, it could well be something that Respawn considers fixing so that players are still rewarded for choosing to use a finisher, rather than being punished because the enemy took the easy way out.
