Apex Legends Season 11 is finally winding down and players have enjoyed all of the new content that was introduced in the Escape update.
The twelfth season of Apex releases just after the third anniversary of the game’s release, and brings with it the game’s 20th character – and it’s a familiar face.
Most new Legends have been mysteries until their reveal, but this has changed with Ash in Season 11 and now Mad Maggie in Season 12. Maggie is Fuse’s (ex) friend, from his Salvo days – check out everything you need to know about the new Legend here.

Legends Season 12 update time
Apex Legends Season 12 will start on February 8, 2022. It’s the first new season of the year, and comes just a few days after Apex’s 3rd anniversary, on February 4.
The new season 12 update for Apex will release at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on February 8, so be on the lookout for a new download on your PC, console or Switch then.

What’s coming in the Apex Legends Season 12 update?
Mad Maggie will be the new Legend in Season 12. Maggie is the childhood friend of Season 8 legend Fuse, featuring in the Ring Fury takeover (you may remember her voice as the announcer).

We know that a new Kinetic Feeder hop-up will also be added, for the Peacekeeper and Triple Take, and Hammerpoint rounds return too.
We can also expect to see some buffs and nerfs to Legends and weapons, when the patch notes release.
Will Kings Canyon & Olympus return in Apex Legends Season 12?
When Season 11 of Apex Legends introduced Storm Point and World’s Edge as the two seasonal maps, many fans wondered when Olympus and Kings Canyon would be returning. Many players seem to miss the nostalgia of playing on Kings Canyon and the colorful and futuristic design of Olympus.

We know that Olympus is coming back in Season 12, and it will be getting a map update too – Respawn will reveal more about this before the season starts.
Kings Canyon will also be making a comeback in regular battle royale, and Ranked – as the second split map.
The new Control LTM is a 9v9 mode – taking place on Hammond Labs from Olympus and Barometer from Storm Point.
