Baldur’s Gate 3 players are reporting a litany of Bugs following the launch of Patch 6. Not the cool Helldivers type either.
Baldur’s Gate 3 recently received a big upgrade with the launch of Patch 6. While the most hyped feature announced in the patch was the new kissing animations, there’s more to it than that.
Players leaped to praise the new quality-of-life changes that came via Patch 6 including new party management options and better UI for the inventory. Unfortunately, not all of the new additions of Baldur’s Gate 3’s newest patch are positive.
Reddit user u/Cygerstorm took to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Subreddit with a laundry list of bugs they’d experienced in their Honor Mode run since Patch 6 dropped. Other players were quick to chime in with their own experiences so far.
u/Cygerstorm listed a total of 14 bugs they’d encountered so far calling their Honor Mode run an “apocalypse” and saying the game had become “bug city”. Notable problems included various enemies and friends acting out of character including some clumsiness from Whithers.
“Withers rose from his tomb, slipped on grease from skeleton fight then aggroed and killed my party,” they elaborated. “We took a vote and decided that you would experience all of the weird bugs so the rest of us could play honor mode smoothly,” another player responded jokingly.

In the comments of the post, more Baldur’s Gate 3 adventurers have come out of the woodwork to report their own bugs. One of the worst is an issue in which the game’s vendors are entirely unavailable.
“Their items disappear and their gold is set to 0. Swapping to a different character and swapping back during the interaction can potentially fix it,” one user explained. “Others have reported saving and quitting can fix the issue but in my case, it bricked my Honor Mode save.”
It’s certainly a bit of a dampener on a patch that has been so well received for its intended changes.
Hopefully, the team at Larian can cook up a hotfix that takes care of some of them.
