As fans of his content will know, Summit loves playing FPS games, but he’s up given up with likes of Warzone and Apex Legends. A lot of his fans want him to pick up Battlefield as soon as it comes out and based on his first impressions, it seems very likely that he will.
It was obvious from the start that he was impressed with the gameplay, and he even took a jab at Warzone after seeing a stadium in one of the maps.

Despite this, it was only in the latter half of the trailer that Summit began to get incredibly excited. The streamer spotted a feature that the devs had taken from Apex Legends and implemented into Battlefield, this being the various zip lines scattered across the map.
He even took the time to praise DICE for taking inspiration from another title and using it to improve Battlefield’s overall gameplay experience.
“They took a little taste of Apex and were like, why should we not have that in Battlefield… I’m with that, I’m with that, I’m feeling that, Battlefield’s got my attention.”
It’s hard to find any content creator on YouTube or Twitch that wasn’t completely blown away by the Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer.
DICE knows how important it is for streamers to be interested in their game and having the likes of Summit, Shroud, and Dr Disrespect on their side already is an incredible start.
