Jake Paul has responded to a fight callout from former UFC champion Tony Ferguson, saying he’s open to taking the Lightweight on in MMA for his PFL debut.
Even though he’s started eyeing up ‘real boxers’ who have dedicated their lives to the sweet science, Jake Paul still has plenty of beef with athletes from the UFC and other MMA promotions.
This has increased further now that the ‘Problem Child’ has signed a deal with the PFL – Professional Fighters League – and is slated to make his debut at some point in 2024.
His most recent beef has come with Tony Ferguson, after the former UFC Lightweight champion stated that he was ready to fight Jake at some point.
Jake Paul responds to Tony Ferguson’s fight callout
Ferguson, who is on a UFC record-tying streak of seven losses, said that he’d take Jake on in either the boxing ring or MMA cage, and that he was ready to be done with the UFC to make it happen.

Well, after defeating Ryan Bourland with a first-round TKO, Jake finally gave El Cucuy a response. “Anyone (from the UFC) who can get out of their contract, I’ll fight. That’s easy work as far as I am concerned,” he said in his post-fight press conference.
“I do want to do a PFL-MMA match, it just has to be the right opponent. But Nate did duck my $15 million offer so we’ll see who else is on the chopping block. Tony Ferguson? He said he wanted to fight.”
The YouTuber-turned-boxer added that it would be “sad” for Ferguson to walk away from the sport on the back of a massive losing streak, and that he doesn’t “want” that to be the case.
It remains to be seen if a fight between the pair comes to fruition, but it would tick the bill of a ‘big name’ for Jake’s long-awaited MMA debut.
