Los Angeles Guerrillas pro Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price has revealed how his team is in good stead to beat Chicago Huntsmen at CDL London.
After an explosive start to the Call of Duty League in Minnesota, teams are looking forward to getting stuck into more CDL action. Eight teams are flocking across the pond, where the London Royal Ravens will host the first tournament-based event.
With 90 CDL points up for grabs, the Chicago Huntsmen have the opportunity to considerably extend their lead at the top of the standings… But only one person stands in their way.
ACHES is a longtime rival of Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez’ organization, having firmly stamped his position as OpTic Gaming’s kryptonite throughout the years.
With H3CZ and co. now flying the Chicago Huntsmen banner for NRG, the Guerrillas’ captain still believes he can be their Achilles heel at CDL London.
In Guerrillas’ first docuseries (ironically named ‘Hardline’), Price revealed that their squad’s coaching staff is the primary reason why he will be able to take down the Huntsmen in London.

“We play Chicago round one of our matches […] the strong suit of our team is we do have a deep coaching staff, and being able to hardcore prepare for one specific team, is where we have an advantage over a lot of other teams,” ACHES revealed.
“If we’re playing well, and we upset Chicago, that’s going to be a story in itself, where we can ride that wave,” he continued. “We’re going to spend the next nine days really hardcore preparing for that Chicago match.”
Indeed, with Embry ‘Bevils’ Bevils and Ricky ‘Ricky’ Stacy both heading up Guerrillas’ coaching options (alongside Doug Liebe as the squad’s data analyst), the LA-based team will be able to come into their opening match thoroughly prepared.
ACHES is one of the most decorated Call of Duty players of all-time, and despite clocking in with the lowest K/D of Launch Weekend, the two-time world champ still believes his squad has got the edge over others in the league.
Of course, only time will tell whether the Guerrillas will become the ‘hunters’ or the ‘hunted’ when the lock horns with Scump and co. at CDL London.
Both teams are scheduled to go head-to-head at 6AM (PT) / 9AM (ET) / 2PM (GMT), but to be sure you don’t miss a minute of the action, be sure to bookmark our dedicated event hub.
