Activision announced on March 18 that Call of Duty is officially coming to mobile devices and is allowing user to pre-register for the upcoming release.
In partnership with Tencent Games, Call of Duty: Mobile will be a free-to-play experience bringing maps, weapons and characters from the franchise to a first-person game on iOS and Android devices.
So far Multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Frontline, Search and Destroy, and Free-for-all will be available in the new game which will be playable on iconic maps like Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and more.

Screenshots of a mobile iteration for Call of Duty had previously leaked. Now official images tied to the title show off incredible visuals and extensive design choices to translate the popular franchise to mobile devices.

Even though its a title built for mobile, the new game will be bringing extensive customization options to unlock weapons, scorestreaks, and gear to personally tailor the experience just like the main entries on console.
Call of Duty: Mobile is a part of the company’s latest push to bring more content to smart device users that revolve around popular franchises like Diablo, Call of Duty and more, according to an Activision Blizzard earnings call in February.
No release date was provided with the announcement, though Activision will be providing pre-launch betas for those who register on their site or the Google Play Store.
