Treyarch have released yet another game setting update for their newly released Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 title.
This new update, which went on October 17, addresses some major stability issues in the game’s Zombies mode.
Many players had been reporting that their game was crashing while they were in a middle of an Easter Egg hunt, and this update is meant to reduce the crashes across all of the Zombies maps.
The update has gone live on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles, with the PC update coming shortly, according to a tweet put out by Treyarch.
In addition, the update also fixes some of the issues in Easter Egg quests, which was causing players to get a blue screen and lose their progress.
We’ve just updated #BlackOps4 on PS4 and Xbox One with significant stability improvements across all Zombies maps, including fixes to the Easter Egg quests. PC update coming shortly. Thanks again for your patience!

A good example of the type of crashes that were occurring can be seen in one of popular YouTuber Noahj456’s latest streams.
Right before he and his squad were going to engage in a massive boss fight on the IX Zombies map, his game crashed and his progress was lost, causing him to break his controller out of anger.
This new update had been hinted at as one of the things Treyarch were monitoring, along with several other issues, in a list put out on October 16.
In addition, a large game update had been rolled earlier the same day, with the full patch notes available here.
