Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer features a variety of maps full of interesting and exquisitely designed locations, one of which is Hacienda.
Hacienda is one of the eleven new maps that have featured in the Multiplayer from the launch day of Black Ops 4, a total that has now climbed to thirteen after the addition of Madagascar and Elevation.
According to its official in-game description, the map is based on a “a lavish vineyard estate situated on a quiet lake in the Spanish countryside, home to a high-ranking crime syndicate boss.”
In addition to being an oft-player map in public matches, Hacienda is also featured in the official map rotations for competitive Hardpoint and Search and Destroy, both in the Call of Duty World League and most other competitive rule-sets.
To help players get better at playing Hacienda, and even dominating the map, YouTuber and CoD expert TheXclusiveAce has release a video breaking down the various aspects of the map, including its spawns, important lines of sight, and hot zones.
According to the YouTuber, Hacienda features seven significant hot zones, or area where action is virtually always guaranteed because that’s where players generally like to position themselves.
These areas are: the upstairs area on the C-side that has a large window overlooking the water, the two opposing head-glitches on the upstairs hallway towards the garden-side, the two opposing areas on the hallway towards the water-side, the stairs leading from that hallway to the rock sculpture patio, and the grand staircase connecting the A-side entrance room to the upstairs area.
TheXclusiveAce then points out some viable lines of sight players can use against opponents who might be unaware of these power positions.
One such position is the ledge to the right of the SUV that is parked on the driveway leading from the A-side spawn to the garage. This position offers a line of sight over the parked sports car and to the head-glitch on the patio with the rock sculpture.
Similarly, jumping on top of the SUV will reveal another line of sight straight to the right of the rock sculpture where there is another head-glitch that players like to sit on. (Image 2 below).

Another relatively unknown yet powerful spot to aim from is the flower vase that’s located under the archway where the C-side interior meets the fountain courtyard in the middle.
While most players will use the vase as a head-glitch, a better use of it is to crouch and look through the small space between the vase and the wall, which offers a direct line of sight to the opposing side’s upstairs windows.
One final line of sight of note is located at the middle of the garden side of the map, where jumping one a specific flower pot that lines the wooden fence allows the player to hard-aim at the connecting archway while using the fence as a head-glitch.
This is a powerful position since the archway is the only way from the A-side gardens to the middle gardens and this line of sight offers an easy way to control that choke-point.
As for spawns, the YouTuber provides a graphic that shows all of the points that players can spawn into the map, which can be very useful to learn for objective game modes.
The green dots shown on the graphic below are the primary spawns, and the red dots are for secondary spawns that generate if there is a lot of pressure being put on the primary ones.
