Following hints from the v1.08 patch notes, Treyarch is gearing up for a major update to the Blackout map on December 11.
Blackout has been highly successful and popular ever since the release of Black Ops 4 on October 12, but the map has yet to receive any updates of any kind.
It looks like fans wanting some major changes won’t have long to wait, however, as a huge hint has now been revealed for incoming updates.
A short teaser was posted to the official Call of Duty Twitter account on December 4 with a cryptic message of “Incoming” along with a date of when the updated map will hit.

In the video, a small blip on the radar can be seen off the western coast of the map, which hints at the possibility of Hijacked being added to the game.

The popular Black Ops 2 map is set on a hijacked cruise ship, which would fit right along with the blip seen out in the water during the short clip.
The addition of the map would also fall in line with the possible leak spotted in a video posted soccer star Neymar Jr. on December 3.
The updated map, as is the case with all Black Ops 4 content, will come to PlayStation 4 first on December 11, with Xbox One and PC to follow seven days later.
