LA will be home to the CDL’s last three physical World Championships as it gets set to host the top squads in the league in a familiar venue.
Though we still have the New York Subliner’s Stage 4 Major to look forward to at the end of July, Activision is giving CDL audiences a couple of months to sort out their trip to SoCal.

CDL Champs venue
Activision are running it back at the USC Galen Center, where the top eight teams in the league will fight for the right to call themselves 2022 CWL Champions.
Aside from the 2020 season, Champs graced the City of Angels since 2019, much to the disappointment of those who wanted to see the event played out in London.
Regardless, the 2022 CDL campaign will have an exciting conclusion come August when teams fly into the Golden State.

CDL Champs dates and format
The CDL Championship Weekend will run from August 4 to August 7 when fans will find out who gets to call themselves the best in the league.
There will be a couple of format changes compared to what we saw in 2021 that will now have all eight teams in the same bracket to determine the ultimate Call of Duty team.
Biggest CDL Champs Playoffs format change:
- Eight teams will enter Playoffs
- Unlike in 2021, the top two seeds will no longer get byes and the bottom two seeds will no longer start in the Losers Bracket.
- All eight teams will start in Winners Round 1.
CDL Champs ticket sale
Fans will have two opportunities to cop CDL Champs tickets through a pre-sale window on June 27-29 and a general public release set for June 30.
