Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin announced his retirement from competing in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
Censor originally retired during the Black Ops 3 season after only competing in a handful of events.
He would sit out Infinite Warfare before ending his retirement to play in WW2, starting the season by creating his own organization, NextThreat, and ultimately making the Stage 2 Pro League as a member of compLexity.
Heading into Black Ops 4, Rostermania was not kind to Censor as he agreed to be a part of the new Evil Geniuses roster with Royalty, Saints, Goonjar and Lacefield, but a series of roster moves led to Censor being dropped before officially signing.
Jkap’s issue with Luminosity led to him being surprisingly available, which eUnited took advantage of. In order to make room for Jkap, eU dropped Felo.
Once Felo became available, Evil Geniuses decided to sign him instead of Censor.

The late flurry of moves left Censor out in the cold, with most rosters already locked in.
Censor leaves behind a storied career with multiple championships spanning Black Ops, Ghosts, and Advanced Warfare.
He gave a number of reason for his decision to move on and even detailed some of the issues he had with the compLexity roster during the WW2 season. You can watch the full video below.
