Call of Duty player Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez has announced that he is a restricted free agent following his team’s performance at CWL Anaheim.
Fero replaced Adam ‘Assault’ Garcia on the squad back in April, with the team hoping to turn their fortunes around after some disappointing finishes in tournaments, and middling performances in the CWL Pro League.
However, with results not improving, and an appearance at CWL Anaheim that saw the team get eliminated in Losers Round 1 without winning a single map, it appears that Envy have opted to make a change to their lineup with just two major tournaments remaining in the 2019 season.
Team Envy fell to 100 Thieves, Luminosity, Gen.G and Team Reciprocity, with all four teams dominating the “Boys in Blue,” sending Envy home on Saturday with a total 0-12 map count.

Before CWL Anaheim had even concluded, Fero revealed that he had been made a restricted free agent by Team Envy, meaning that other organizations can now come in and make a bid for the player should they feel he would be a good addition to their roster.

It is believed that Fero’s move will kick off a hectic period of roster moves as teams attempt to solidify their lineup ahead of CWL Pro League Finals and the CWL Championships, the year’s two biggest events which take place in July and August respectively.

CWL Pro League teams have just three days to make roster changes, with the window set to slam shut on June 20, so it’s expected that a number of organizations will be making frantic transfers during this three-day period.
