The infamous Call of Duty esports insider known as the CoDBurner has captured major headlines yet again, dropping a fresh new set of intel on April 8 regarding numerous pro players and teams.
The second period of RosterMania is currently underway, with teams being able to make changes starting from April 5-22, leading into the CWL London major tournament.
With the competitive CoD community in full anticipation for all of the major roster changes that are expected to take place, the mysterious CoDBurner has shared some leaked info on the likes of OpTic Gaming, FaZe Clan, and others.
FaZe Clan’s future not so certain
A large portion of the CoDBurner’s April 8 Reddit post was dedicated to FaZe Clan and their possible return to the CWL Pro League. It’s been well-documented that FaZe are in the running to purchase the Pro League spot from Red Reserve, who have fallen onto hard times as an esports org.
According to CoDBurner, FaZe have still not completed a deal and that “two or three orgs are going to meet with Red Reserve about their spot so anyone telling you it’s sold is wrong.”
If FaZe do end up back in the Pro League, they reportedly will have to play without their star man Dillon ‘Attach’ Price, who is on loan at Evil Geniuses, unless FaZe want to pay the large fee of bringing him back from loan early.
As for James ‘Crowder’ Crowder and Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner, both of whom are on loan at 100 Thieves, FaZe will apparently have trouble getting them back this season as 100T are reportedly prepared to put up a fight to keep them on loan.
Team Envy likely to make a change
The CoDBurner is almost fully convinced that Envy will be making at least one change this RosterMania, giving only a 10% chance that they don’t make a change of any kind.
According to the post, Envy are trying to court Red Reserve players Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall and Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris, which apparently is likely to happen if FaZe are unable to buy Red Reserve’s CWL Pro League spot.
If FaZe do end up acquiring the spot and acquire Skrapz and Zer0, then Envy could drop Adam ‘Assault’ Garcia in favor of UYU’s Saul ‘Parzelion’ Masse-Siguenza, according to the post.

The CoDBurner also stated that the most likely player to be dropped from Envy’s roster, in order, as Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price, Assault, Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov, then Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo-Palmer, with only Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland pretty much guaranteed to keep his spot.
Possible destination for Fero
Despite having been demoted to the substitute’s role for 100 Thieves, Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez remains a hot commodity in CoD esports.
According to the CoDBurner, FaZe may be a possible destination for him if the org ends up buying RR’s spot, however there are claims that Skrapz and Zer0 are not willing to team with him.
Skrapz has denied that claim to be true, calling it “bullshit” in a response to the post on Twitter.
Mate, where is this bullshit from? Who is this gimp ?

OpTic Gaming’s potential change
In the post, the CoDBurner also mentioned OpTic Gaming, claiming to have heard “something about OpTic making a change.”
However, the Burner believes that the change will not be to their roster but rather with their coach Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow, claiming that the squad hasn’t been happy with him and his Search and Destroy strategies since all the way back in the WWII season.
When asked about these reports live on stream, Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell quickly refuted all of the claims.
In addition to the information we’ve broken down for you above, the CoDBurner’s April 8 post included a lot of other leaked intel, all of which can be viewed below or on Reddit.
(4-8-19) roster rumors and updates on faze red and nv
faze didnt buy the spot yet but they still want it but dont want to pay big for it….2 or 3 orgs are going to meet with red this week about their spot so anyone telling u its sold is wrong. That means attach is still on eg and i think hes stuck there anyway unless faze wants to pay big to get him back early from the loan but if they wont pay big for the spot then they wont pay big to get attach back either.
if faze doesnt get the spot then its zero and skrapz to NV in place of ap and pat. cuyler still wants the whole roster dropped and silly was trying to convince skrapz to come to NV so he could keep his spot on the team. If the faze buy happens then expect at least assault to be gone for parz. theres so many moves in rostermania waiting on the spot situation with red to happen and with that considered then the most likely to be moved off NV is in order pat then assault then apathy then silly….im saying only maybe 10 % chance nv doesnt make any kind of change.
faze would offer 10 k a month so if faze gets the spot then nv probably would need to do 15 k to convince skrapz to go there instead…both zero and skrapz really like faze for the clout
attach still wants to drop the other two that havent been dropped yet but idk who he would get thats not leftovers bc of their awful league record
