The mysterious Call of Duty insider known as the ‘Real CoD Burner’ has dropped another bombshell claim, this time regarding the future of pro player Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow.
According the unidentified source, Karma had a verbal agreement with CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag to join 100 Thieves’ new CoD roster, but has backtracked on it at the very last moment.
The Real CoD Burner alleges that the three-time world champion will be rejoining the OpTic Gaming team, where he spent the better part of the last three years before he stopped competing halfway through the WWII season.
He wrote on Reddit: “Look back through my posts. I told you Karma made a verbal agreement that he was joining his team [100 Thieves], but he decided to go back to OG, and left it last minute to say anything to Nade.”
This massive claim comes on the heels of a tweet that Nadeshot posted earlier the same day, in which he said that he had “strong opinions” about the current off-season.

“I’ve got some very strong opinions about this Call of Duty offseason,” he tweeted. “And I can’t wait to share them when everything is said and done.”
While the CoD community will have to wait to hear Nadeshot’s “strong opinion”, they could very well be about what the CoDBurner has claimed – that Karma was indeed slated to join 100 Thieves before his change of heart.
If Karma does indeed rejoin OpTic, it would be a massive turn of events after the longtime competitor had made it clear that playing for the Green Wall was in the past.
However, if OpTic are indeed planning on dropping Methodz as the rumors and speculation suggest, then picking up Karma would make sense for both parties – OpTic would bring back one of its most popular and outstanding players, and Karma would be instantly back on a championship contender.
