Recap of all-Dallas Empire Grand Final
Considering how good of a Call of Duty team the Dallas Empire are, it didn’t come as too big of a surprise when all four of their players competing in the event made it to the Grand Final.
Crimsix and Shotzzy, having won the Winners Bracket, had the advantage of needing only to win one series, while Clayster and iLLeY needed to win two to claim first place.
The first series started on Stack, which Clayster and iLLeY won, but Crimsix and Shotzzy evened things up with a 6-4 victory on Speedball. However, Clayster and co. staved off elimination by winning 6-4 on Docks to reset the bracket and force a second, winner-take-all match.

The second Grand Final series started on the new Winter Docks map, which Crimsix and Shotzzy won 6-4 to take a 1-0 lead. Once again, Clayster and iLLeY were able to stay alive by winning game two on King 6-4, setting up an all-or-nothing map three.
As if scripted for the occasion, the third map went nearly the distance, but Shotzzy clutched up for a huge kill to win the round, map, match, and tournament all with one shot of his weapon.
