FaZe Clan has confirmed the long rumored signing of rising prospect Cellium.
The legendary CoD team dropped Methodz after a somewhat disappointing placement at CWL Vegas. Methodz signed with G2, who also made changes, but FaZe was not interested in a straight swap or trade.
Instead, they signed former eUnited development player Cellium, who recently became old enough to compete at the professional level.
Cellium was on the radar of top Call of Duty organizations for a long time as a potential prospect, playing for eU’s Cadets teams, but he failed to meet the age requirements in place at the CWL.
OFFICIAL – Ahead of January's @CODWorldLeague qualifier, we have transferred Methodz off our professional roster & signed a new 5th: @Cellium.

FaZe kept the core of their successful WW2 roster together and added Methodz as their fifth player due to Black Ops 4’s new roster rules. However, a top 16 finish at CWL Vegas had the organization searching or new options.

Methodz was the odd man out due to his slower play style that may not have been meshing well with the aggro subs of FaZe.
Cellium is expected to pick up an AR for his new team, though FaZe may be able to try out completely new roles for everyone with the new roster makeup.
The current members of FaZe Clan welcomed their new signing, with Dillon ‘Attach’ Price saying, “Excited to be teaming with this young animal @Cellium, So much talent and potential.”
