FaZe Clan’s Attach and Team Envy’s Apathy give tips to improve your aim and win more gunfights in Black Ops 4

FaZe Clan pro player and 2015 Call of Duty World Champion Dillon ‘Attach’ Price and current World Champion Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov have given Back Ops 4 fans some tips on how to get better at the game.

Both professionals wanted to focus on player’s aim, and the small changes and adjustments they could make that could see them go from losing gunfights to winning them.

The first thing the FaZe Clan member suggested was finding a controller that you feel comfortable using, and then figuring out how you like to hold it, whether that is normally or using the claw method. Attach also suggests diving into the settings in Black Ops 4 and trying out different button layouts, and controller sensitivities until you find one that suits you.

Apathy said that a basic but massive factor to improve your aim is centering, which is making sure that the crosshairs in the middle of your screen are always looking towards where you want to go, or where you think enemies might be.

“It means you’re always ready,” stated Apathy. “It allows you to snap in right away on your enemy. It’s really effective, it really works.”

However, Attach feels that the biggest advantage you can give yourself over opponents is positioning. “If you’re on a headglitch, it’s harder for their bullets to hit me, and easier for mine to hit them because I am behind something, and they are not. It’s better to have the worst aim and be in a better position, than have the best aim and be in a worse spot.”

Of course, all of these techniques need to be practiced, and both Attach and Apathy state that the best way to do that is by shooting bots, and playing as many games as possible.
