Atlanta FaZe’s Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr has revealed the retired Call of Duty pro he would most like to have teamed with, citing a multiple-time world champion as his number one pick.
Since first entering the pro league back in Black Ops 4, Simp has been a standout player in every sense of the word. He’s not only been the best player in the game across different titles but often looks lightyears ahead of the competition, with the accolades to prove it.
That said, since Simp is still so new to the pro scene, there are a number of legends he never got to team with or go up against in their prime, with years of history that he didn’t get to really experience as a player.
But, looking back at the legends of the game, Simp singled out one retired pro as someone that he would love to team with: Canadian star and one of the most successful in the history of CoD, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow.
During a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Simp answered the question about which retired pro he’d like to play with, and explained why Karma was his top choice.
“If I had to choose, it would be Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow, just because I feel like he’s probably hilarious,” the two-time world champion explained. “I also feel like he was just super fun to team with.”

He continued: “The guy was just GOATy back in the day when he was playing, and I don’t know, I feel like he could still have it in him if he wanted to.”

There’s no denying that Simp and Karma in their primes playing together would’ve made for some great viewing — and Karma’s storied career may have lasted even longer if he managed to slide into a team with Simp in Modern Warfare, rather than the Seattle Surge squad.
As one of the greatest to ever touch the game, it’s no surprise that Simp would pick Karma for this — but now fans can only wonder what might have happened if they did end up teaming.
