Preston ‘Prestinni’ Sanderson could miss the upcoming Call of Duty League Home Series event in Los Angeles, with Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez rumored to be in line for a spot in the team’s starting roster
Hot off the heels of an impressive run at CDL Atlanta which saw the Mutineers topple the likes of the Chicago Huntsmen on their way to a grand final showdown against Atlanta FaZe, SMG superstar Prestinni could be missing the next Home Series event.
While initially nothing more than speculation, Prestinni has since come forward and clarified the situation by commenting on the rumors himself.
First reported by CDL Intel on Twitter, rumors have been circulating around Prestinni’s attendance at the Los Angeles event on March 7.
Supposedly stepping back from the starting lineup during the next tournament run for the Mutineers, Fero has been eyed as a potential replacement.
With content creator Nick ‘MaNiaC’ Kershner and coach Ricky ‘Atura’ Lugo the only official subs currently signed to the org, bringing in a top Challengers prospect and former 100 Thieves starter in Fero could make the most sense.
🚨 RUMOUR: @f3rocitys could be filling in for @Mutineers in place of @Prestinni this weekend. Reason unknown.

Additionally, CDL Intel also shared a lobby picture which appeared to feature Fero filling in for the Mutineers.
Having consistently finished in the Top 4, with six first-place victories in online 1k and 2k Challengers tournaments, Fero has been actively competing since the latest title was released. His team even finished in the Top 12 of 168 rosters at the Launch Weekend Open in Minnesota.
In a since-deleted Tweet from Prestinni, the veteran responded to a comment that the coronavirus was the reason behind his sudden absence from the LA event.
“More to it than that,” he explained. “I won’t get into it though. Y’all can roast me for not going over a virus all ya want. Ima [sic] keep this one to myself. All ima say.”
