Footage of an unannounced multiplayer map for Black Ops 4 has surfaced from play sessions in Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, entitled “Arsenal”.
The map was not featured in the recent multiplayer beta, and with no other multiplayer betas announced, this may be the only look at this map until the full game releases on October 12.
The map appears to takes place on a military base or compound of some kind, complete with large anti-aircraft guns.
There seems to be a good mix of short and long range engagements, with a congested central area, and flanking routes on each side.
It does seem to be a fairly large map, perhaps the biggest compared to what was playable in the beta, although it is difficult to really get a feel for the size without getting hands on.
It is certainly a very clearly structured map, following a fairly straightforward three-lane approach, like Treyarch map design is famous for.
This could mean it is also a viable map for competitive play, at least for the hardpoint gamemode, as is shown in the below footage, thanks to Spanish YouTuber Soki.
