After his Chicago Huntsmen teammate Seth ‘Scump’ Abner posed the question, T2P member Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper promptly and casually made his case for why he’s the “better” member of the famed Call of Duty duo.
Some of the best duos in history are built on one-upmanship, such as the unstoppable Lakers two-man show in Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. Like Shaq and Kobe, the legendary Call of Duty duo T2P has won many championships together, and required a bit of patching after a falling out.
But, unlike the three-time NBA champions, the duo of Scump and FormaL are still playing together today, reunited under the Chicago Huntsmen banner and led by their former boss in Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez.
As the two approach their next campaign together, with the opening weekend of Call of Duty League less than two weeks away, their competitive sparks haven’t faded at all, and even during streams they’re still trying to outclass each other.
During a January 14 stream, Scump posed the question to his teammate: who would you say is the better T2P member? “It’s obvious,” FormaL replied, “it’s me.”
As Seth remarked on his own impressive shots, Matthew kept calm while making his own case for being the best, dropping five opponents with the HDR sniper rifle in less than thirty seconds.

Impressively, four of his kills came from four consecutive shots in a row, and included a helicopter passenger as well as the pilot who was attempting to flee. His final kill came from a player trying to hide next to a crane.
“You might think you’re nasty,” his teammate Scump said, unaware that FormaL was in the midst of dropping four players with four straight shots, “but you’re not.”
“Uh huh,” Piper replied, focusing more on getting kills than engaging in trash talk, “whatever you say, brotha.”
Eventually, the teammates would lead their squads to a victory in the Ground War match they were in, and they hope to rack up a lot more wins together when CDL begins.
The two won several events together under OpTic from 2015 to 2017, before a clashing of egos and a sudden downturn in quality of play resulted in FormaL’s departure and the collapse of the OpTic CoD empire, according to Scump.
Years later, the two would reconcile their differences and reunite, with fresh championships aspirations now driving the duo forward once again.
