As Rostermania begins to heat up ahead ofCall of Duty roster.
Gen.G have been one of the biggest surprises of the CWL Pro League thus far, managing to put together an impressive 6-1 record to top Division A.
Despite the success seen from the team over their first two weeks of the Pro League, it looks as though Gen.G has decided to shake things up in a big way by moving on from the star player.
While SpaceLy is surely the cornerstone of the Gen.G roster, having led them through negotiations during the entire Black Ops 4 season, even he wasn’t safe from another Rostermania surprise.
“Exploring my options since the team decided it was in their best interest to replace me,” tweeted SpaceLy on March 6.
Restricted Free Agent under @GenG. Exploring my options since the team decided it was in their best interest to replace me. Everything happens for a reason and I wish them the best of luck. DMs are open.

While many saw these initial comments as SpaceLy taking some jabs at the organization, he later clarified that this situation isn’t their fault in any way.
“GenG is a phenomal organization and I truly wish them nothing but the best like they deserve,” SpaceLy explained. “This [roster move] happening isn’t their fault and any negative comments should not be directed towards them. It just is what it is at this point.”

Even though SpaceLy initially made no mention of who Gen.G decided to bring in as his replacement, word quickly got out that Dylan ‘Envoy’ Hannon was up next for the Gen.G squad.

Envoy is currently with Midnight Esports, has been dealing with some roster drama of his own, tweeting a cryptic message on March 2 promising to speak his mind once he is able to.
Any moves involving either team will come as quite the surprise since Midnight is sitting right behind Gen.G at the top of Division A with a 5-2 record.
When I can open my mouth, best believe I’m speaking EVERYTHING on my mind.
