With OpTic Gaming’s win over Team Envy at the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare World Championships, one member of the Greenwall made history, that still stands to this day.
When Call of Duty fans discuss the best CoD player of all time, there is one name that crops up more than all the rest. Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow is the only player to have won three world championships, doing so in three separate Call of Duty titles.
The first came in 2013 on Call of Duty: Black Ops II, when Karma played on Fariko Impact alongside Killa, MiRx and Parasite. The squad were seriously impressive in Treyarch’s acclaimed title, but disbanded just weeks after winning their world title.
After leaving Fariko, Karma found himself on Impact and Team Envy, before joining CompLexity Gaming. Here, Barlow became the only two-time CoD world champion, winning on CoD Ghosts alongside Crimsix, TeePee and ACHES.
