Black Ops 6 is the first Call of Duty title to be available for Game Pass Ultimate members at launch, and BO6, MW3, and Warzone are also be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard in October 2023 allowed Call of Duty to be added to Xbox Game Pass. MW3 was added in July, but Black Ops 6 will be the first time members can experience a new COD title at launch using Microsoft’s signature service.
Besides Game Pass, Activision Blizzard has emphasized the importance of more players having access to their games using cloud gaming. In January 2024, Nvidia GeForce and Xbox Cloud Gaming were granted the ability to offer cloud games on Apple iOS devices, bringing Call of Duty to a new platform entirely, and that includes Black Ops 6.
