In what was supposed to be a Call of Duty League vs. Warzone event, two CDL duos met in the Finals, with iLLeY and Capsidal coming out on top.
After five events and three weeks, the Call of Duty King event has concluded. The Warzone and CDL pair of Cely and Shifty dominated in the early stages, winning back-to-back $20,000 2v2 WZ kill races. And then, on two different teams, Atlanta FaZe’s aBeZy won the $20,000 MW2 Hardpoint and the $20,000 SND event.
aBeZy had a chance to win a third event in the Finals with CDL teammate Cellium but ultimately fell short. It all came down to a gunfight match in the last event, and Cellium and iLLeY took care of business.

MW2 2 & Warzone 2: Who Is The King explained
Who is The King stacked some of the CDL’s top pros against Warzone’s largest creators against and with each other in a five-event, three-week tournament. The first four events alternated between 2v2 kill Warzone kill races and 4v4 Modern Warfare 2 SnD and Hardpoint matches.
Each 2v2 team featured one CDL and one Warzone creator, while 4v4 teams comprised two CDL players and two Warzone creators.

The Finals did away with the previous format and features 2v2 teams of CDL pros against Warzone creators. Pairs competed in best-of-three series, with game one being a 2v2 Warzone kill race, game two an MW2 hardpoint match, and if necessary, a Gunfight match as the decider.
Who Is The king prize pool
The first four events had a $20,000 prize pool, and the finals bumped that figure up to $70,000.
