How to turn on MW2 crossplay

Does MW2 crossplay work for Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 2 is not available on Switch. However, this could change in the future as a new deal between Microsoft and Nintendo has been announced.
Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, Brad Smith, gave the following statement: “We’ve now signed a binding 10-year contract to bring Xbox games to Nintendo’s gamers. This is just part of our commitment to bring Xbox games and Activision titles like Call of Duty to more players on more platforms.”
