Call of Duty Warzone content creator JGOD reveals how the QBZ-83 could be relied on when dropping into Verdansk. JGOD goes in-depth, comparing the QBZ-83 to the popular Krig 6.
There have been plenty of assault rifles to rule Warzone throughout the months. One AR that hasn’t really made its appearance into the “meta” is the QBZ, but the weapon just might start to creep up after Season 4’s weapon changes.
JGOD revealed that the QBZ was one of his weapons in his top 10 loadouts after the release of the Season Four Reloaded patch.
In JGOD’s latest YouTube video he breaks down QBZ-83 with a side-by-side comparison with the Krig 6. Here’s how the QBZ-83 can benefit top-tier players who are consistent with their aim.
JGOD’s best QBZ Warzone loadout
JGOD recommends that players interested in the QBZ run this class:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 16.5″ Ranger
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: Stanag 60 Rnd Drum
This loadout gives great recoil control and a fat magazine, which work well in tandem considering the gun’s damage profile. As the YouTuber and Warzone analyst explains, this version of the QBZ is in some ways even better than a popular meta AR like the Krig 6.

QBZ has faster TTK than the Krig
JGOD starts by showing the recoil patterns and time to aim down sights. The QBZ takes the trophy in both categories as it has a faster ADS time than the Krig and as you can see in the picture above, the recoil is a lot easier to control than the Krig.
This is important because this is where the skill gap comes into play for the QBZ. The only situation you can find yourself wanting to use this over the Krig would be for players that can consistently hit chest and headshots.
The time-to-kill for the QBZ is faster by 20 ms than the Krig for both the chest and the head, while requiring the same amount of bullets as the Krig. This means if you get into a gunfight with a player using a Krig, you can out-gun them with your QBZ — as long as you hit the chest and up.
The damage drop off on the QBZ is much higher than most ARs in the game and you see a significant drop off when hitting stomach or leg shots.
The TTK does heavily rely on hitting shots in the head regardless of range so you might not notice the change if you are not consistent with your shots. So if you think you have the aim to handle it, JGOD recommends giving this gun a try in Verdansk.
