Modern Warfare 3’s JAK Slash aftermarket part is the only underbarrel to help improve tactical sprint speed, and that mobility boost makes it a great attachment for Warzone.
Aftermarket parts re-imagine what we think of conventional weapons and attachments. MW3’s new system has opened the door for fun and creative spins on what’s possible.
For example, the JAK Cataclysm aftermarket part transformed the RPK from a forgettable LMG into a two-shot killing machine in Warzone.
After taking over the battle royale meta for a few days, Raven Software was forced to bring the hammer down with a huge nerf to the attachment. In saying that, every week, the development team comes up with a new exciting invention.
Sledgehammer Games’ latest creation is an underbarrel that doubles as a combat knife. This is important because a combat knife can down a fully plated enemy with two swipes, but the attachment also comes with a mobility boost worth noting.
The JAK Slash improves movement boosts to every mobility category besides ADS movement speed and provides an eight percent improvement to vertical recoil. And best yet, the attachment only decreases hipfire and tactical stance spread, which wont impact most players.

A three percent boost to tactical sprint speed may not sound like a lot on paper, but given that this is the only underbarrel to help that category makes it a good attachment to consider using.
For short-range meta loadouts, we still expect the DR-6 Hanstop and XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop to remain popular thanks to their better mobility and handling improvements.
In saying that, improved sprint speed is a game-changer, and the ability to two hit down an enemy with a combat knife attachment elevates this new aftermarket part to another level.
So while we don’t expect this attachment to be overpowered like we have seen from other aftermarket parts, if you want to catch enemies off guard with an aggressive playstyle, the JAK Slash will be perfect.
