MW3’s Augmented Human bundle features a new loading screen, although fans are noticing it’s a calling card from MW2 now in a purchasable bundle.
In recent years, Call of Duty has noticeably revamped its in-game cosmetics. Head over to the in-game shop, and numerous bundles provide players with new ways to dominate the battlefield, with players shining bright in their Nicki Minaj skin or skulking around with their giant reindeer-headed character.
Compared to what CoD was in the past, this evolution has led to growing division. Some players feel it’s not realistic enough, while others feel it’s a video game, so realism doesn’t matter.
However, the shop itself seems to be providing another problem and that’s claims of recycled content from previous iterations.
MW3 Jet bundle features calling card from MW2
MW3‘s in-game store features a bundle called Augmented Human. For 2400 COD Points, players get the Vex Operator skin, two weapon blueprints with tracer, and a few cosmetics such as charms and loading screens.

The problem with the bundle, as noted by MW3 player YungIkeSly, is the loading screen in the bundle is a calling card from last year’s MW2.
Many players pointed out they didn’t have an issue with this. “Who tf cares about a loading screen,” one player said, while another replied this isn’t a new trend: “They’ve done that a few times before, with even the same loading screens, just a different background.”
Yet the underlying issue that hasn’t been addressed is it was a free unlock in MW2. Players only had to get 100 melee kills, and they earned the card, no money or points attached.
With MW3’s Season 2 right around the corner, we’ll see if the item shop strays away or follows this precedent moving forward.
