A redesigned lobby screen in Black Ops 4 was spotted at a Fan Expo in Canada on September 1.
The new lobby shows off multiple characters before a match.
Previously, the lobby screen in the Black Ops 4 beta was a slideshow of a single specialist, which could be selected by the user.
The redesigned screen has six specialists standing in a row. It is unclear if the Specialists are teammates, since BO4 features five player teams.
With Signature Weapons and presumably customizable player skins on the way, the new lobby screen could be a way for players to show off their custom characters before a match.
Since the Fan Expo was a LAN setup, it is possible that the six Specialists lining up is simply the default screen for the offline section of the game.

It was also not the final build of Black Ops 4 and more UI changes could be on the way by launch.
The Fan Expo also provided the first look at the CoD Caster in Black Ops 4, which is used to spectate competitive matches.
The new Caster is a drastic change from past Call of Duty titles, taking on an appearance similar to the Overwatch League’s display.
