Popular Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has become hugely popular for his Fortnite streams in recent years but, after having a lot of fun on Warzone, it looks like he may be putting Epic Games’ monster hit behind him.

Having been a popular Call of Duty streamer before the release of Fortnite, his switch to the battle royale titan came as somewhat of a disappointment to many of his fans, but it’s fair to say that he’s seen more success since making the switch than many could have ever imagined.

However, despite his two-year love affair with the game, he hinted in his March 17 stream that it may be coming to an end soon, after really enjoying new Call of Duty battle royale Warzone.

Nick isn’t the only streamer that has become infatuated with Warzone.

After a long session playing the new game, which released on March 10, Nick was very honest with his fans about his feelings towards the two titles.

“I’ve been playing for 10 hours and I’m f**king fine,” he said. “I feel like I’ve played for an hour. Guys… we’re in a predicament.”

Expanding on what his predicament is, Nick said “Man… Fortnite, huh? What was it, two years and some change? I think we had a good run.”

He went on to explain that they’re going to be bringing back the Fortnite Friday tournaments but for Warzone, a prospect he’s clearly excited about, especially given the popularity of the Fortnite Friday tournaments and how much of a platform they gave certain streamers.

He mentions that when he goes to bed at night he’s thinking of Warzone and when he wakes up in the morning all he wants to do is get up and play – so it sounds like we may be welcoming in a new era of NICKMERCS.
