The Pittsburgh Knights Call of Duty team could be set to make roster changes after being spotted practicing with two new players on a stream.
This could mark the beginning of a busy period of CoD transfers, traditionally known as Rostermania, as the 28 teams who have qualified for the CWL Pro League in January look to finalise their line-ups.
Although the Knights got off to a reasonable start when they qualified for pool play in the first Call Of Duty event of the season, they will be looking to improve following losses against OpTic Gaming, Splyce and Red Reserve in Las Vegas.
However, their 13-16th placed-finish means that they have qualified for the CWL Pro League play-in event, which is set to take place from January 16 through January 20. Could they be making changes before then in a bid to boost their chances?
Well, the team has been spotted practicing with G2’s Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy and Renato ‘Saints’ Forza from Evil Geniuses. The pair replaced Dylan ‘Theory’ McGee and Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield, who competed in Vegas.

Teams are allowed to make changes ahead of the Pro League play-in event, but must keep three players that competed for them at CWL Vegas on their roster. So the Knights would be able to bring these two players in without losing their play-in spot.
The Knights are not the only team reportedly set to make moves ahead of the January event. FaZe Clan played in the online CMG ProDown tournament on December 16 with up-and-coming star ‘Cellium’ replacing Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni, while Methodz came in for Ricky in G2’s squad.
Should these apparent changes go through, the Knights roster would look like this:
- Christian ‘Parasite’ Duarte
- Adam ‘GodRx’ Brown
- Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano
- Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy
- Renato ‘Saints’ Forza
