Popular Twitch streamer Michael ‘Call of Duty Modern Warfare arrives on October 25.
Shroud has never been a big Call of Duty player or streamer, instead, he has chosen to ply his trade in other FPS games such as Counter-Strike, or in the battle royale arena with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Apex Legends, and Fortnite.
Although he dabbled a bit in Blackout when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 first came out, he naturally fell back into the aforementioned titles, but in his recent promotional run with Activision and Infinity Ward for this year’s title, he may have enjoyed the game more than he expected.
As such, it seems like shroud has every intention of getting involved in Modern Warfare when the game comes out, and he has explained his one very simple plan for when the game releases.
Responding to a viewer during his October 18 stream, the former CS:GO professional said: “Bro, I’m going to OWN in that game. You have no idea. I am going to get so many nukes. I am going to get so many frags.”

Although shroud isn’t commonly seen as a Call of Duty player, you would be foolish to doubt his ability in the game simply because his mechanical skill in FPS games is almost second to none.
We’ve already seen him competing against some of the best Call of Duty players in the world at the reveal event in August and, while he was outshined by some of the pro players in attendance such as Seth ‘Scump’ Abner and Preston ‘Priestahhh’ Griener, he still largely managed to hold his own.
It remains to be seen how much Modern Warfare shroud will be playing this year, but as an official CoD Partner for the upcoming launch, fans should anticipate seeing him playing a lot more in the weeks following the game dropping.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is due for a worldwide release on October 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
