A new bug has appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that appears to let players crawl through unopened doors.
The highly-anticipated Modern Warfare finally released worldwide on October 25, giving fans their first venture back into the popular sub-series for the first time in almost a decade.
However, while fans and professionals have been grinding out hours in the game, problems have arisen. There have been complaints about the game’s multiplayer maps, weapons, and even grenade usage. Outside of that though, bugs have also reared their heads, including ones where players can spawn without a weapon and others that allow them to see name tags through doors.
It the doors that have been causing issues again, with Chicago Huntsmen star Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson showing off how players can simply crawl through them – even if they’re locked.
The Call of Duty world champion posted a video from his recent stream to his Twitter account, that shows him crawling through not one door, but two, in order to gain a silent, and major, advantage in a Search and Destroy game.
While the game does show a ‘prone blocked’ message, as it would when you lay down in a spot you’re not supposed to, it’s clearly broken and not working as intended.

The majority of the replies seemed confused by how Arcitys had managed to uncover the problem, with Jamal ’Whea7s’ Lee saying “so like you kinda sorta cheating.”
Arcitys’ former eUnited teammate James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, whose Dallas Empire squad have dominated early online tournaments, jokingly asked why he was ‘teaching’.

The Infinity Ward have been quick on the draw to respond to problems in their new release, pumping out weapon nerfs and new content.
It remains to be seen if they have a fix in the works for this crawling through door issues or if there’s nothing they can do about it.
