After weeks of teases and increases anticipation from the Black Ops 4 community, Treyarch have finally announced the release date for the highly-requested League Play mode.
League Play has been one of the staples in the Black Ops franchise since its inception, but the feature was infamously absent from Black Ops 4 at launch in October 2018.
Months of waiting from the community seems to have finally paid off as Treyarch at long last gave a concrete release date for League Play.
League Play will finally go live in Black Ops 4 with the new operation next week, with the first League Play event officially going live on February 21.
It’s set to be a massive week for Black Ops 4 fans as a major weapon balance pass will also hit the game two days prior on February 19.
While League Play was initially only going to be live during special events over the course of three-day events on the weekends, Treyarch announced in their January 29 blog post that it would be expanded to include events throughout the entire week.
Treyarch also detailed a revamped ladder system in that same post that seeks to alleviate many of the problems that past iterations of League Play had.
