While leaderboards weren’t enabled at the launch of Black Ops4, fans won’t have to wait long before they’ll be available in game.
With the release of Black Ops 4, Treyarch has taken all the necessary steps to ensure the launch weekend runs as smoothly as possible.
Disabling leaderboards was one such step, but the popular feature will be making its way into the game sooner rather than later.
In a statement on Twitter, Treyarch assured anxious fans that they are “aiming to take them live next week.”
For those inquiring about leaderboards: we are aiming to take them live next week. Stay tuned for details . . . thank you for your patience! #BlackOps4

Treyarch added that more details will be announced soon while thanking everyone for their patience.
Showing up in every Call of Duty title, leaderboards allow players to see lifetime stats and make comparisons for each game mode.
There’s no word yet on whether Black Ops 4’s version of the feature will be available for Blackout, Zombies, and multiplayer or whether it’ll only be included for certain modes.
